Thanks to Charter Commission candidate Taryn Thoman, who filmed and edited some of last night's action from both events, you can get up to speed without any written words from me.
Bear in mind that the School Committee, together with the recently retired School Superintendent, Tommy MacDonald,
cut the school’s 125-student PM Alternative Learning Program
that caused thousands of high school kids with kid’s problems to be suspended multiple times until they gave up hope and quit school.
MacDonald, Lawler, and Murphy were also responsible for adopting bus fees.
MacDonald, Lawler, and Murphy were also at the helm when Barnstable parents filed a number of racial and ethnic complaints
causing the U.S. Department of Education to send the New England Equity Alliance at Brown University for an intensive investigation of wholesale discrimination and bullying in the Barnstable School District…
MacDonald said last night that he asked for the New England Equity Alliance to investigate discrimination and bullying problems in Barnstable.
Brown University, in the New England Equity Alliance report, categorically states that the investigation was ordered by the U.S. Department of Education, pursuant to a number of complaints.
$50 million to $75 million of your tax dollars rest on Quincy "Doc" Mosby, and Michael Dunning credibility.
Both are defendants in the Rectrix Aviation lawsuit...
As you watch the video of John Klimm speaking last night,
ask yourself if you really want these guys on the witness stand in U.S. District Court testifying before a Boston jury with that much of your money at stake?
Rectrix wants to settle the lawsuit.
I recommend that John Klimm pick up the telephone today, and beg Rich Cawley for forgiveness.
Mosby is an obvious chronic liar.
With him on the stand the town will not only lose the case, but will be exposed for maximum punitive damages.
Please watch for yourself, and act....

Let me get this straight.
No one on the council or the Town Manager "TRUSTS" Mosby, yet they OK a $35 million project.
Count me in as a yes vote to throw all of them out on Question 3 in November.

When those named in the Rectrix lawsuit have to take the stand in the lawuit, we should rent a bus and go watch the liars in the big show!
As for the council, talk about one big bunch of MORONS, excepting Greg Milne and even Jim Munafo for once! At least TWO COUNCILORS had a brain for once! As for the other idiots, yes, it truly was a grand show! Yes, there was supposedly this "lack of trust" yet the bozo's voted FOR it anyway!
I even heard that Manager Klimm even had his doubts and perhaps for the first time I guess I was in John's court!
Hey, like I said last night, we will have a ten taxpayer LAWSUIT to STOP these asses from selling the assets of the aiport. THAT AIRPORT is the TAXPAYERS and NOT Mr. Mosby's or anyone elses! It belongs to WE, the TAXPAYERS and so does that revenue!
And WE WILL have it in court if we have to, trust us!
And Thank you as always to Gary. As for the ten taxpayer lawsuit, I am in. So is Gary. Anyone else who wishes to sign just let us know... THIS IS FOR EVERY TAXPAYER in our town! THAT money belongs to us ALL and NO ONE ELSE, including anyone and everyone at the aiport!
Good day to all....

The bad news- the Patriot has decided not to endorse any candidates for charter commission. This seems like an unbelievable dereliction of journalistic duty, but maybe they figured, hey, we walked away from the rest of that crap a long time ago. This could be the first move in an eventual drive to disown the charter drive altogether. The good news- the new edition of the HACC Flagship is out and it's a dandy! You can spend the whole morning pouring over their hard-hitting investigative reporting. Who said local papers were dying?

WHO CARES that the patriot will not 'endorse' any of us? No offense but all they said of myself is that I am known because I am a CRITIC of the town council! HELLLLLOOOO. Yes, and I am DAMN PROUD to be one WHO NOT ONLY SPEAKS FOR the people, but I CARE!!! Take a good look at the useless council! The ONLY councilor who cares is GREG MILNE!
Everyone should read Paul Gauvin's article in today's patriot. He calls the bloggers a CULT! Paul, PLEEEAAASE... A CULT?! Either Paul has been 'away' and NOT seen the POWER the blogs have had, OR
Paul is just too AFRAID to admit it...
And if anyone sees Paul, ask him to come in here and READ some of what we are TRYING to do, which is HELP the thousands of GOOD HONEST PEOPLE in barnstable who have been getting screwed for far too long now by a bunch of clueless concilors, and a town manager who spends our money like we pick it off our money trees!

Could someone explain how the legal fees are paid when 10 tax payers file a law suit? I'm guessing it could run into the $10's of thousands. And if the suit is successful do those who paid the fees get a financial return?

I endorse myself. Thats all I need.

A ten-taxpayer lawsuit is not for the recovery of attorney's fees or damages.
The ten-taxpayer lawsuit is a means to get the courts to overrule a political decision made by city officials.
The suit is heard within days, and might cost $2000 depending if the city wants to appeal.
COG has a letter from the Tax Chief from the DOR that states the airport enterprise fund is not entitled to lease revenue from the Kmart Plaza.
We brought the information to the Town Council two years ago.
The Council has failed to act, and the Airport Commission has publicly stated that it is seeking bids to sell the property (June 22, Airport Commission meeting)
We will ask the court to order the airport to decide which it wants; 1) remain an enterprise fund, and give up the lease revenue, or 2) keep the lease revenue, but give up its autonomy and become under the control of the Town Manager.
