JOAKIM LACKEY COMES HALF-FAST CLEAN….What else is new?

The author of the Barnstable Beet blog, and Council President, Janet Joakim’s alter ego, in today's post admitted he lied when he accused me of altering a copied and pasted paragraph from his Sunday post.

Following is the paragraph in question published on July 12;

Considering the open seats and the applicants -- the chair of the ZBA recommended Norman be moved to a full seat. That was considered along with the applicants. But after going through the interviews we really felt that adding Laura to the ZBA was a plus and she was willing to volunteer and apply. The associate member himself never actually applied, the appointments committee chose her unanimously.

After I wrote a post in which I accused Janet Joakim of being T. J. based on the use of the word “we” which can only mean the collective members of the town council,

T. J. altered the paragraph in his post to;

Apparently Gary Lopez did not like what I wrote because he attacked my blog again today, this time he crossed a line by resorting to flat out lying.

In his blog post today he included two paragraphs cut and pasted from my post yesterday.

He then had the nerve to edit what he copied to make those paragraphs read in way to support his blog post.

I take tremendous pride in my work on this blog and the information I present, whether it be about Barnstable or not.

I also take extreme offense at my work being altered to support to make me out as a liar, when I am not.

The common denominator in all the misery inflicted on Barnstable citizens, taxpayers, and voters by town hall, is Janet Joakim. 

Janet is a sick puppy....

I’ve reposted the 16 character traits of sociopaths suffering from Malignant Personality Disorder, the same illness suffered by David Berkowitz (Son of Sam), Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, and other serial killers.

People who have only  fleeting acquaintance of Joakim will tell you she suffers from all 16 descriptions.

2.      They are egotistical to the point of narcissism. They really believe they are set apart from the rest of humanity by some special grace.

5.      Genuine moral, or other values play no part in their lives. They have no empathy for others. Under older psychological terminology, they fall into the category of psychopath or sociopath, but unlike the typical psychopath, their behavior is masked by a superficial social facade.

7.      Do not perceive that anything is wrong with them

Just one small word....

 

Before I get in to the topic of this blog, I want to say thank you to all of my readers. The last couple of days have not been easy for me but I am still here. I also want to thank the author of the precinct 3 truth blog for addressing the matter involving this blog.

 

So there I was late this past Saturday typing my follow-up post to my first post about the ZBA resignations. I had not planned to even write a second post, until I received and email containing the information I posted on Saturday. That email arrived late Saturday morning while I was working in my yard, so I did not read until shortly before 2 pm.

 

After reading the email and then re-reading the Barnstable Patriot article about the ZBA resignations I realized that the information sent to me, needed to be made public. If I had known as I typed that posting that post would cause what happened on Sunday I might not have hit the publish button.

 

Much of what I wrote on Saturday was transcribed directly from the email I received and in my haste to get to a family function, I made a small mistake. That mistake was caught by Gary Lopez among others and used to bludgeon both myself and Janet Joakim online. Yes the infamous "We" was in the post and yes I did go back and remove it.

 

I then wrote my Sunday post in response to a post written by Gary Lopez on his blog. I admit I was angry when I wrote the post but did not reveal the real reason for my anger. Instead I chose to write my Sunday post for the express purpose of getting under the collective skin of Gary and his followers.

 

The thing that made me angry was Gary and his "coggers" are using the ZBA resignations to publically flog Janet Joakim. This has been going on now for sixteen months since the Winter of 2007 and a definitive stop needs to be put to it. As I said on Sunday I respect a persons right to an opinion however Gary and his "coggers" have clearly gone way to far, where Janet Joakim is concerned.

 

Apparently if what was written on Lopez's blog on Saturday is accurate then a new effort to recall Janet Joakim will get under way next week. According to Gary, there was a meeting, held in a private home, this past Saturday morning to organize the recall effort. Gary and the others plan to use the ZBA resignations as a lynch pin in the recall effort. My Saturday post on the resignations must have been hard for Gary and company to swallow.

 

Instead of addressing the entire contents of my post Gary, chose to smear both myself and Janet without cause. Janet was called a rather derogatory term that dates back to World War 2 and I was accused of trashing the former chairperson of the ZBA. In both of the posts I wrote about the ZBA the chairperson, Gail Nightingale, is mentioned twice, once in each post. In the first post I merely reiterated that her resignation would not be effective until July 24. In the second post I transcribed from the email, that Gail Nightingale had recommended an associate ZBA member to be a full member. Neither of these statements trashed Gail Nightingale in anyway yet I stand accused of doing just that.

 

One of the comments in response to my first post included a line about the ZBA "jumping overboard with led life jackets..." I did not write the comment but chose to publish it because I agreed with what the author wrote. I was also accused of writing other comments in response to that first post about the ZBA. Nothing could further from the truth, yes the comments were tough on the resigned ZBA members, but there were equally tough comments left on Barnstable Patriot's website in response to the article about the ZBA resignations.

 

Yesterday the owner of the blog called Precinct 3 truth wrote a post about the ZBA and the attacks on me. That post has resulted in more attacks on me over my Sunday post and more attacks on Janet. As of today Janet is now accused of "ghost writing" this blog, which is untrue and I am accused of simply pasting an email as my Saturday post. This is also not true, the email I received contained other information about the town appointments process which was included as background. I chose to not to include that information in order to keep by post brief. There were some additional comments in the email that I felt were not on the topic of the ZBA resignations that I also omitted.

 

As to author of the email that remains a mystery to me since it was sent through and anonymous email website. I will say that any time I have needed to contact Janet Joakim via email she has responded using the email address she has through AOL. However again Janet has been bashed for being the author of an email that no one except myself and it's author have actually read.

 

As to the ZBA resignations, I have reviewed the agenda for this weeks town council meeting and five of those who resigned were going to be reappointed to their respective seats on the board. So I ask again why did they resign in the first place?

 

One final note, yesterday Gary himself left comment on my blog which contained a number of errors of facts about me, and more bashing of Janet Joakim. Since there seems to be no immediate end to this behavior from these people I am going to take this blog beyond the boundaries of Barnstable so I can keep writing this blog and not have to give in to the "coggers" who would love to see this blog shuttered. I will still write about Barnstable, my home town, but just not as often as I have been.

Janet Joakim is not fit to be on the town council, let alone serve as its President, and a de facto Mayor of Barnstable.

LET'S RECALL HER BEFORE SHE DOES MORE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO OUR TOWN.

Interesting that Janet Joakim on her own blog completely ignored the ZBA issue.

Her latest blog is about the "No crap disposal law in Cape Cod Bay."

It looks like Joakim will have to do her swimming in someone else's pool.

Janet Joakim darkens everything she touches. This TJ guy did not start out to be such an asshole, but became one once he got into bed with the Ass Monkey Queen.

She is saying on the dog blog that Farnham does not have the stones to publicly ask her to resign. Anybody taking bets?

BTW, Will they be selling popcorn at Thursday's council meeting?

I am soooooo confused! The writer of "that other blog" takes pride in their work and then publishes an email from an anonymous person? That doesn't make sense. The email could have come from anyone.
